A Little Bit Of Rain Never Hurt

One of my favourite snaps from the hike to the bottom of (the highest mountain in New Zealand) MT Cook. All in all this hike and the journey to it was full of wonders and optimism, Having had the trip planed for weeks the day had finally come, Only to greet us in the morning with terrible dark rain clouds. Never the less we made the drive in the conditions and took cover in one several cafes in the MT Cook site. Not to be beaten by the weather after filling ourselves up with coffee to energise and warm us we set out in the rain. It was a wet,windy and overcast however strangely it all added to journey and allowed captures just like this one.
