Faslane Boarding For Boys

This stunning building was a boarding school for unruly children when my Father was young boy of which he had attended as a result of my grandmother having enough of his likely lad behaviour. I was lucky enough to witness such architecture on a day trip to Lochgoilhead for an interview where I was soon after going to live and work for the next year. It was brilliant to hear of the stories these walls once housed and to hear how its ways would shape the man I know as my Father. The building now lies behind the Faslane peace camp just off the side of the naval base so if your'e ever passing pull up and have a nose around the grounds.
